Achieving a Healthy Weight for our bodies is a goal that impacts all facets of our lives. We feel better, look better and engage with the world more when we are comfortable with ourselves and our weight.

A simple tip to help you is to eat before you do your grocery shopping. Simple I know, but very effective. A classic mistake people make is when they do all of their grocery shopping when they’re hungry. They get overzealous and end up getting more food than they normally would have.

Another simple tip to implement is to carry emergency food packages. Fill them with healthy snacks like mixes that include nuts, veggies, and fruits. When you do this you will always have something on hand when hunger strikes, and will be less likely to cheat and lose sight of your weight loss goals.

Achieving a Healthy Weight

Ultimately to lose weight you need to burn off more calories daily than the number of calories you eat each day. Keeping track of the calories you eat and the calories you burn from exercise and other activities is another easy way to stay on track. Tracking will help you learn if you need to take in less calories or increase your activity level to increase your weight loss.

Perform a cardio sessions right after you lift weights or together as Metabolic Training. Studies have shown that you burn more fat when you perform cardio right after a session of weight lifting or doing it as a combined session. This is great way to get the most out of your workouts.

Start out by exercising for half an hour every day and work  your way up to 45-60 minutes.
