If you’ve adopted some bad eating habits along the way that is okay. We just need to make a few changes that can make all the difference.

Skipping Meals: Hitting snooze, or meetings that run through the lunch hour, and leaving things to last-minute plans can all create problems and lead to skipping meals.

If you regularly skip breakfast then try something like Shakeology to drink while you drive to work. It gives you everything you need for a great start to your day. Lunch skipping… Well don’t go to a meeting without a bag of healthy snacks and plenty of water. If dinner is tough, it is time to meal prep a few dinners on the weekend so you can grab and eat when you get home.

Mindless Eating: When you’re eating in a hurry or while you’re distracted, chances are that you’re not paying attention to your hunger cues. If you’re not paying attention to what you’re eating and how you feel in the moment, the more likely you are to overeat. Distractions — TVs, computers, phones can make things worse. Pause and really pay attention to your food. The act of bringing awareness to these feelings is often enough to prevent overeating.

Eating Straight Out of the Bag or Box: Eating directly out of the bag or box has the tendency to create an unawareness where you will scarf down significantly more calories.

Grab the right portion from the box or bag, and only eat that. Put the rest on lock down for another day.
